Causeway Bay is a popular shopping nightlife and dining area. Boutiques and department stores stay open late into the evening. Check out the ultra-modern Times Square, the Japanese department stores and the boutiques of Fashion Walk. The stalls and shops of Jardine's Bazaar and Jardine's Crescent offer great bargain hunting. Just metres away is Victoria Park, an expansive parkland with swimming pools, jogging tracks and tennis courts.
Hopeful punters head for Happy Valley Racecourse during the horseracing season. Before having a flutter, you might want to pray to the gods for luck at Tin Hau Temple adjacent to Victoria Park. |

Eastward along the coast towards the ancient fishing harbour of Shau Kei Wan, you'll find the Law UK Folk Museum, a typical 18th-Century Hakka house with period furniture and an annex hall for local history and lifestyle exhibitions. The nearby Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence includes a permanent exhibition outlining the history of Hong Kong's coastal defences.
